Why Wenger Engineering is your partner for modeling
Wenger Engineering stands for solid simulation in hydrogen technology – as a basis for safe, efficient and economically viable plants. Complex processes and systems are digitally mapped, analyzed and optimized before they are implemented in reality. This allows well-founded decisions to be made early and risks to be minimized in a targeted way.
Customers benefit from a deep understanding of physical and process engineering relationships as well as the targeted use of modern simulation tools. Whether process simulation, thermodynamic calculations or dynamic system analyses – all relevant factors are taken into account and translated into reliable models.
Why Wenger Engineering?
- Hydrogen projects since 2007
- Over 750 projects worldwide
- Innovation and pioneering work
FAQ section
Why is simulation so important in hydrogen technology?
Simulation is particularly important in hydrogen technology because it makes it possible to realistically analyze complex physical processes, operating conditions and potential hazard scenarios in advance, optimize them and minimize risks – without the need for extensive and costly real-world testing.
Which systems can be simulated?
Nearly all relevant systems along the hydrogen value chain can be simulated – including electrolysis plants, storage and compression systems, pipelines, refueling infrastructure as well as complete integrated hydrogen plants including their operating and safety processes.
What advantages does simulation offer for planning?
Simulation offers a clear advantage in planning: systems can be virtually tested and optimized before they are built. This helps reduce risks, improve the design, lower costs and increase the efficiency and operational reliability of the plant.
Is simulation also used during operation?
Yes, simulation is also used during operation to monitor systems, optimize operating strategies, detect deviations at an early stage and plan maintenance and optimization measures in a targeted way.
