Project description
The hydrogen production plant in Reichenau (Switzerland) produces hydrogen using a 2.5 MW PEM electrolyzer and was implemented by Wenger Hydrogen GmbH as the general contractor. The plant consists of the electrolyzer, a low-pressure gas storage system, a compressor, and four trailer filling stations.
The plant is controlled by the gas and energy management system, developed by Wenger. Up to 350 tons of hydrogen can be produced annually, which is filled into trailers via the filling stations. It is the first plant of its kind in the canton of Graubünden and a pioneering project for Switzerland.
